Growing up free diving off of the Mediterranean Sea's coastline, Sam's love for the ocean started at a young age. He moved from Lebanon to the United States at 20 years old to start a career in computer science. After more than a decade working for Fortune 500 companies, while he was on a dive trip to the Red Sea, he knew it was time to make a career change.  Soon after, Sam became a PADI divemaster and launched a travel and dive company prior to becoming the owner and operator of Gold Coast Scuba.  He is fluent in English, Arabic, French and speaks conversational Spanish. 

Rebecca grew up in the rolling farmlands of Pennsylvania spending summers at Rehoboth Beach searching for sand crabs and boogey boarding the Atlantic waves. She has 14 years experience in the nuclear industry working at an organization promoting the highest standards of safety and reliability.  She finds joy in helping others, learning cultures and traveling.

In 2024, we bought Gold Coast Scuba to inspire and empower every diver and snorkeler who walks through our doors. With our passion for the ocean and diverse experiences, we’re dedicated to offering not just world-class diving but also a sense of community. We believe in creating a safe, fun, and educational environment where adventurers of all levels can explore the depths with confidence.
