The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course trains divers to confidently explore depths down to 40 meters (130 feet), which is beyond the 18-meter (60-foot) Open Water limit and the 30-meter (100-foot) limit for the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
The course teaches essential skills like deep dive planning, equipment considerations, and managing risks such as nitrogen narcosis and decompression sickness, including practical training with four deep dives.
