Growing up free diving off of the Mediterranean Sea's coastline, Sam's love for the ocean started at a young age. He moved from Lebanon to the United States at 20 years old to start a career in computer science. After more than a decade working for Fortune 500 companies, while he was on a dive trip to the Red Sea, he knew it was time to make a career change.  Soon after, Sam became a PADI divemaster and launched a travel and dive company.  He is fluent in English, Arabic, French and speaks conversational Spanish.  He is always eager to learn a new language and apply the latest techonology. 

Rebecca grew up in the rolling farmlands of Pennsylvania spending summers at Rehoboth Beach searching for sand crabs and boogey boarding the Atlantic waves. She spent 14 years in the nuclear industry working for a not-for-profit organization to promote the highest standards of safety and reliability primarily in the international division in program management and management.  She finds joy in helping others, learning cultures and traveling.

Through traveling and diving in beautiful places like Croatia, adventure became our way of life. In 2024, we saw an amazing opportunity to live our dreams and make a difference in people's lives so we moved with our two sons to Florida to own and operate the premier dive shop, Gold Coast Scuba.
