Description
Delve into deep dive planning, gas management, narcosis identification and more with the PADI Deep Diver Specialty course at Gold Coast Scuba. The course trains you to dive confidently to 40 meters (130 feet), beyond the 18-meter (60-foot) Open Water limit and the 30-meter (100-foot) Advanced Open Water limit.
Practical training includes four deep dives with your instructor.
What you'll learn
- Planning deep dives and managing your gas supply
- Identifying and managing nitrogen narcosis
- Equipment considerations for deeper diving
- Buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control at depth
- Managing decompression sickness risk
Prerequisites
- PADI (Junior) Adventure Diver certification or higher
- Minimum age 15
