Even a site you've dived many times becomes a whole new world at night. Under the glow of your dive light, day creatures retire and nocturnal animals come out. If you've wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, the PADI Night Diver Specialty course is for you.
What you'll learn
- Choosing and using primary and backup dive lights
- Night entries, exits and communication signals
- Navigating in the dark and staying with your buddy
- Spotting nocturnal marine life on South Florida reefs
Prerequisites
- PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver certification or higher
- Minimum age 12

Gold Coast Scuba is a PADI 5-Star Dive Center just blocks from the beach in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida. Living coral reefs start right off the sand, and wrecks like the historic SS Copenhagen are close by, so you train in real South Florida conditions with an experienced PADI Instructor.
